Short version: this is an information site, not a shop. Prices can be wrong. Check before you buy.
What this site is
Tasman Bargain Board publishes information about prices and discounts at third-party retailers in Australia and New Zealand. We do not sell anything, hold stock, take payment, ship orders, or handle returns. Every purchase is a contract between you and the retailer, on the retailer's terms.
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use it.
Accuracy of prices
Every price, discount and coupon on the board is a record of what was observed at a moment in time. It is not an offer and it is not a promise. Retailers change prices without notice, run out of stock, end sales early, and restrict offers by region or account.
Always check the current price on the retailer's own page before you buy. The board can be wrong, and a listing being visible here does not mean the price is still live.
Where a listing shows a discount, that figure is calculated from observed price history and is our own assessment, not the retailer's claim. Both are shown where they differ.
Coupon codes
Codes are published as found and expire, get withdrawn, or turn out to be restricted to certain products or customers. A code that does not work at checkout is not something we can fix, though we would like to know about it so it can be removed.
Community submissions
If you post a deal, you confirm that what you have written is your own or that you are entitled to post it, and you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish, display and edit it on this site. Do not post personal information, anything unlawful, misleading or defamatory, anything that infringes someone else's rights, or referral links of your own.
Submissions and votes are moderated. Anything may be edited or removed without notice, and nothing is guaranteed to be published.
Acceptable use
- Do not scrape, mirror or bulk-copy the board's content for a competing service.
- Do not attempt to interfere with the site, its alert system, or its voting.
- Do not use automated means to sign up email addresses that are not yours.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links earn us commission. This does not change the price you pay or the order deals appear in. See the affiliate disclosure for the detail.
Third-party sites
Links lead to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, their prices, their terms, or their handling of your information.
Intellectual property
The design, text and the price-history assessment method behind the board belong to its operator. Product names, images, logos and prices belong to the respective retailers and brands and are shown to identify the products being discussed.
Liability
The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from relying on information here, including a price that turned out to be wrong, an offer that had ended, or a coupon that did not work.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, or the Fair Trading Act 1986, where those apply and cannot lawfully be excluded. Your consumer rights against a retailer for something you bought from them are unaffected by anything on this page.
Availability
The site may be unavailable, incomplete, or out of date at any time, including without notice. Email alerts are provided on a best-effort basis: an alert may be late or may not arrive at all, and no purchasing decision should depend on one turning up.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top shows when they last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [your state and country — e.g. New South Wales, Australia], and the courts there have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
